1979 - Trading activity started for CNC Metal Cutting Machines in Electronica group. First Japanese CNC Wire cut EDM displayed in Imtex 1979. Activity Launched with conducted tour for several Indian businessmen to Japanese Machine tool factories.
1980 - Entered into sales arrangement with Mitsubishi, Sekoseiki, Okuma, Komatsu etc. First time Japanese Machines ever brought into Indian Market. Several Indian visitors including big teams from Telco Started and ran periodically CNC Training Programmes for the Industry.
1981 - First Horizontal Machining Centre of Mitsubishi delivered to HAL Bangalore (Aero Engine division) First VMC of okk delivered to HAL Nashik Branch Network started for selling the Machines.
1982 - More Agencies added like Mitutoyo for CMM, Komatsu, for cold Forging Presses, Yaidu for optical profile Grinders, Jig boning Machine etc. Rapid sale of CNC wire cut EDM continues.
1984 - Nakamuratome Japan CNC Lathe added to the product Basket.
1986 - Raising Japanese Yen & increased custom duty (110 % ) led us to search for alternatives to cater to Indian Industry. Started promoting Taiwanese Machines.
1988 - 500th imported machine delivered.
1990 - Walter Germany CNC EDM, Reform Germany Grinding Machines.
1994 - Market demand for high-end machines comparable to Japanese but of lower price Led us to identify machines from Korea. Thus started our association with Daewoo heavy industries (New Known as Doosan Infracore Ltd) Sale Of Taiwanese machines continued with Hartford (Machining Center),Porth (Surface Grinder), Argo (Milling Machines) leading the puck.
1996 - Several European products added like Bosch Company for Motor’s & Drives, Ipiranga Spun for Ball screws, Basufuldi Italy for turrets, Ona Spain for CNC Wire cut EDM.
1997 - 1500th imported machine delivered.
2000 - 13th Branch added in the Network.
2004 - Start of trading of CNC metal forming machines.
2005 - 2500th imported machine delivered. Customers were taken to Finn Power, Finland.
2007 - Separate Group company Electronica HiTech formed to focus on above trading Activity of metal cutting & metal forming lines. Several agencies from Europe & Turkey added for Metal Cutting and Metal forming activity like Breton, Brother etc. CNC sheet metal component manufacturing unit in Urawade near Pune.
2008 - First time Electronica HiTech introduced machines for CNC laser cutting Technology from Prima Industry Italy. ‘Akyapak’ for Plate/Profile bending machines from Turkey.
2009 - Search is on for big machines to suit large infrastructure projects and need of engineering industry. Launched Electronica make Entry level CNC Lathe.
2010 - Inaugurated conveyor based Power Coating Plant at Urawade factory, Pune.
